This is a great series! I can only read a book if it grabs and keeps my attention. Hunger Games certainly did just that. So fascinating! The concept is weird, and pretty gross. But, it is so intriguing and keeps you reading. Thanks Mary for telling me about these books, and letting me borrow them! If you are looking for an entertaining, easy read you should definitely pick one of these up!
I have no idea why Led Zeppelin is my favorite band. Well, I totally take that back. They rock! They were the first group I started listening to. My best friend's brother would play their stuff in the car....on the way down to the beach, for dawn patrol. I was hooked. Led Zeppelin 4 was what got me into them, and of course, Stairway to Heaven. I love this picture above! Anytime one of their songs comes on the radio, I smile. If you've never listened to them, you should.
I LOVE the piano! I am so fortunate to be able to have one in my home. I grew up playing the piano...taking lessons for years. As I got older, I grew out of it. I never liked practicing. So over the years, my talent with playing diminished some. Now when I sit down to play, I can still do it but it is not as easy and flowing as it once was. I am still able to note read which is something I am so happy I can do. I love music. Sidnee took lessons for a few years, and she was really good at it. She too did not like to practice and eventually she stopped playing. It makes me sad, I wish she could of kept it up so she will be able to play when she is older. She really does have such a busy schedule though with school and swimming, so it was kinda hard to add in another activity.
I was up in Mesa this morning so I thought I would stop by the temple. I'm so glad I did! It was very nice, and peaceful. I loved walking around the grounds and enjoying the calmness. (Well, except for the annoying lawnmower man.) I love the picture I took of the side of the temple. They also have a new art exhibit. You should check it out! I took a few pics of my favorites. What a nice way to spend some "me" time.
So I just can't get into this blogging stuff I guess. I did really good for about a week and that was it. Oh well. A little here and there is ok with me!
